I have well chronicled my search for the ultimate grocery shopping iPhone app.

The first one I purchased was GroceryIQ, which, at the time, had just been bought by Coupons.com. I liked it a lot! Especially the ability to reorganize the aisles to match the layout of my store. What I really wanted from GroceryIQ was support for multiple lists. I mean, what if I needed stuff from Giant Eagle, Target, and CVS? I wanted them seperated.

That’s when I found the Groceries app by Sophiestication. It has the ability to make multiple lists. But no support for customizing aisles. You win some and you lose some!

I was browsing the App Store just now and saw that GroceryIQ has submitted an update to Apple and is awaiting approval. Well, at least I hope that’s what’s going on! Their update said they sent in version 1.5 on March 24th! I know Apple is notorious for taking its time approving updates. Sometimes they’re quick and other times, not so much. I hope their update wasn’t rejected!

I’m anxious for this update because the developers have promised multiple list and pricing support among other upgrades! Finally! I was beginning to think that they were content to be bought out and no longer provide the updates they promised.

So now I wait!
