If you know me, you’ve probably heard me bitch about how there is no train system in Ohio. Then you’ve probably also listened to me proclaim that I won’t roll in a bus and they aren’t the same. Yup. Sounds familiar, huh?

Well, imagine my surprise when I read this

State officials have talked about it for a good two decades, and now Gov. Ted Strickland is taking steps toward creating a passenger rail corridor connecting Cleveland, Columbus, Dayton and Cincinnati.

A train to connect the major Ohio cities? Music to my ears!

I’m not going to get too excited, though. The powers that be have been talking about this for years. Here’s to hoping that they mean it this time!
