Holy smokes!

I started this post in September 2014. Since then, I’ve finished one full bottle of Kate Somerville’s EradiKate and purchased another. And the only time I did not use this product was when I was in Hawaii for a week.

Bottom line: I LOVE THIS STUFF!

I’ve been making a concerted effort to reduce my usage of Benzoyl Peroxide, which is what I used to use on blemishes. I used to apply some sort of BP product twice a day. But I’ve slowly cut down on that to the point that I only use a small part of it every other day, and only at night. A big reason for that is because I found EradiKate.

My face seems to really like the sulfur in this product. It sits at the bottom of the bottle, underneath a layer of rubbing alcohol. Do not shake the bottle! The pink sulfur product, at the bottom, it what you apply to your face. I use a cotton swab to get a bit of product out. If I have a blemish or feel one coming on, I put a bit over it, before bed. When I wake up, the blemish is usually greatly reduced or eliminated all together.

Some people complain about the smell, but I am not one who is sensitive to fragrance in products. I find that after EradiKate dries, I can no longer smell anything. There are also complaints from women about having pink treatment spots on their face. But seeing as how I sleep alone, with no man, what do I care if there’s stuff on my face?

With the history of issues I’ve had with my face, my entire life, if there’s a product that genuinely helps, I’m going to use it regardless of its scent or appearance. Desperate times call for desperate measures, y’all! And this one works for me.

EradiKate was the first product I used from Kate Somerville’s line, but it’s not even my favorite! That title goes to ExfoliKate, which I will review shortly. That product is nothing short of amazing. Like, I seriously think there’s magic in that tube.

If you have acne prone skin, what products do you find work very well for you? I’m always looking for more feedback and suggestions!
