About

Welcome to the mind of Suz. Don’t think too much and enjoy the laughs because I keeps it real.

I run about a million different sites, but I have a lot of interests that aren’t covered with those sites. So I wanted an outlet for all of those other things; hence my own personal blog. I’ve owned his domain for a while. “Kiss my black ass” is definitely a phrase that comes out of my mouth a lot. It’s been funny seeing the search engine hits looking for “black ass” come in. I bet those people are extremely disappointed, but what can I say? Fooled ya! Thanks for the hit!

Having this personal blog may also cut down on the sites I start. On the other hand, it could increase them as well. I’ll just have to see this all plays out. If I start posting about those people/sports/events that I don’t have sites on and it becomes popular, ya never know! I’m always open to new websites!

So, there ya go. Even though the majority of my friends suck and don’t visit here often, I’m gonna keep blogging. And when this blog starts pulling in a lot of traffic they’ll be sorry. That’ll show them!

Basics, because I’m not trying to put all my business out on the streets, are that I’m a grown ass woman living in Columbus, OH who loves sports, music, travel, photography, and sarcastic people.

I just started using your podcast and week 1 went by great! You really picked out great music to keep me going and working hard. Week 2, I had a bit of trouble getting through. You have the song, "Let's get retarded" and it almost knocked me off my tracks...you see I have a daughter with Down syndrome and was totally not expecting it. However, I could say it was my fault because I didn't take the time to read through the music list that you provided.

So, I could ask if you wouldn't mind changing that song to the updated version...which can you? I will understand if you said No...because it's not my podcast and I do understand that you may or may not care (but I'm kinda of hoping you do)

    Thank you,

    Sonia

    Hi Sonia,

Thanks for the message. Unfortunately, my main computer (which has all the song segments, timing used, and recorded vocal cues for these podcasts reside on my old computer, which recently died on me last week. If I didn't think it would take a ton of work now to create an alternate version of that particular podcast for you, I would absolutely do it. It would just take so much work, since I don't have anything except the finished podcasts that appear on the site.

I'm aware that there are probably quite a few songs within my playlists that are offensive to some, the BEP song included. There is cussing and some of the songs have questionable content. I've never been a fan of radio edits, and I own the Black Eyed Peas album in question, and the version that appears on there is what's on the playlist. I'm sorry that it struck a chord and understand why you would rather not use that podcast. My sincere apologies.

I initially created these so I could get myself running. When people started asking what I was using and could I share, I did. But the emphasis was and has always been on my musical likes. I guess that's the risk you take when you put your product out there.

Like I said, I'd love to create a modified version for you, but when my new computer gets here in a few days, I have to start from scratch. I have to remember and reinstall every single program I had on before (hundreds). I have to redownload a large music library, upon other things. I just don't think I can start taking individual requests with all I have going on right now. Had you asked a couple of weeks ago, no problem. It only would have taken about 15-20 minutes.

If you no longer wish to use my podcasts, I understand. I can refer you to another great set, provided by another nice c25ker. Hopefully her Week 2 playlist will work for you. Here's the link: http://gonicoleyourself.blogspot.com/2008/06/co...

    Hi,
    I really appreciate your response!

I also appreciate the fact that you would have made the changes, it means a
lot! I can honestly say, having Lillian in my life has changed a lot of my
views in life. Before she was born, I didn't get the fuss of the "retard"
word, but I completely understand it now.

I will continue to use your podcasts, but probably will skip week 2
(actually, I already have). I'm married to a sailor, and the cussing I can
deal with :) Your podcasts have really pushed me to enjoy running again,
and I thank you for that.

I guess I can only hope that one day...even if it's a long ways away, you
will have time to re-edit week 2. But in your own time and when your new
computer is taken care of. It's funny, I actually had downloaded the
podcast a few months ago, but just started using them. I guess if I was
serious about running back then, you would have been easily able to make
    those changes!

Thank you for the quick response and good luck with the computer situation!
I will continue to use the podcast, because the music is just that good!

    Sincerely,

    Sonia Brown

I read in one of your post you were looking for a 10k running program. Try www.personalrunningtrainer.com.
BTW I am on my week8 of my C25k and I just wanted to thank you for making the podcast. i don't think I would have been able to do it without them. I am an RN and your podcast have gotten me so excited about running that I have about 5 people now running it to your pod cast. I love your music you choose.... AGAIN Thank you
