Coming This Weekend: Bridge to 10K – Week 1 Podcast

Bridge to 10k

I know y’all have been waiting for this for a minute! Actually it’s been about a year since my Gateway to 8k got shut down. (Darn copyright laws)

I asked everyone, on Facebook, whether they want the full set all at once, or just on a week-to-week basis, and it was a unanimous decision that I release these week by week. So, your wish is my command!

I will share the Week 1 workout Sunday evening! And I will be keeping the music theme at 90s hip-hop and R&B. So, if you started Gateway to 8k, then the first few weeks will sound familiar. Hopefully you don’t care too much!

If you’re not ready to train for a 10k, my Couch to 5k set is still available!

NOTE: Also, I got some feedback that my Amazon Payments “Tip Jar” is not really the business and I agree. I wouldn’t have switched but PayPal disabled my account out of nowhere, rendering it useless. I was pretty bummed since I’d had it for 10 years, had the debit card, & used it regularly. So, my brother stepped up with his, and we’re going to try that now! *crosses fingers*

Feedback Needed for ‘Bridge to 10k’ Podcasts

So I mentioned, on my Facebook page, that I was about to start making those long-promised Bridge to 10k podcasts. But as I’ve looked around for a template to follow, I’ve come to a fork in the road. So, before I proceed, I’m going to need some feedback from those who will be using these.

I’ve seen various “Bridge to 10k” or general training for one hour running which progresses simply as increasing the distance/time running each week. (Kind of like we’ve been doing the last 3 weeks of Couch to 5k)

And then I’ve seen other training plans where, after completing C25K, the training goes back to intervals as you build your base towards running an hour.

My question is: which method would you like used for my Bridge to 10k podcasts?

I’ve created a poll on my Facebook page, so please be sure to ‘Like’ it first, then give me your feedback!

Thanks everyone!
