Have I Mentioned How Much I Love The Mannings?

Every day we read about the shenanigans that certain sports stars are up to. These days, there’s a new Johnny Manziel headline everyday, and a new Riley Cooper apology on the off days. Where’s the fun, I ask? WHERE IS THE FUN?!

House Hunters International

One of my favorite shows on Direct TV is House Hunters International. It is truly amazing how little house you get for the money in other countries. Americans live large! Nowhere is that better exampled that through this television show. For instance, Europeans are used to small living quarters, whether homes or apartments. Their kitchens are quite small and the appliances are tiny, compared to our side-by-side refrigerators and large capacity washers and dryers. Even the dishwashers in Europe are small. But when I think about it, I am convinced that can be a good thing. I believe they buy and eat fresh fruit, vegetables, meat, and bread daily. So they do not need large appliances or pantries to house their food. Europeans enjoy their lives outside their homes so they do not spend a lot of time at home, which means they do not need a lot of room inside. Europeans have a very different lifestyle from Americans. They are not obese as a nation, like the United States. Maybe we should learn their secrets and apply them to our lives.
