This was the first week I incorporated my newly purchased 20 lb dumbbells into the workouts, and I continue to feel stronger. Chalene repeats herself many times, encouraging us that we’re probably stronger than we think we are and can go even heavier. After this week, I’m even more of a believer!

So, it took a little longer than I planned, but it’s still up well before I was scheduled to do my run today. Apologies to those of you who were to begin week 3 today and opt to run early in the day. I don’t do mornings unless I have to. I didn’t even get out of bed until after noon!
So I stuck with Hip Hop. It’s working for me, and there are still fun songs that I’ve been digging for years, so why abandon it? There are 9 weeks in this program. I will eventually exhaust the genre!
This week’s podcast includes a little Eve, Ice Cube, and Eminem as well as regulars T.I., Black Eyed Peas, and Ludacris. I hope you will enjoy it!
